About P&TD

Professional and Technical Development was founded in 1997, when Eric Murphy saw that there was a demand in South West Wales for a high-level training provider to deliver NVQ Level 4 qualifications in engineering to technical and professional staff.  Companies that we delivered training to were so impressed with our level of service that we quickly became involved in many other aspects of bespoke training and eventually expanded our range of provision to include all levels of the Welsh Government Apprenticeship and Traineeship programmes.  We now deliver all levels of the Apprenticeship Scheme in EngineeringManufacturingBusiness Administration and Management.

As well as providing work based learning courses to employees across Wales, we also offer various short courses at our premises in Llanelli, including; First AidFood Hygiene, Personal Licence Holder's Award, Manual Handling, Health & Safety, Door Supervision, Sage accountancyECDL and many more...

We also deliver ReAct training, to those looking to re-train and re-enter the workplace following redundancy and have more recently extended our training portfolio to include basic skills training in literacy, numeracy and IT.
