Quality Standards
Since 2002, when we were first awarded Job Centre Plus ‘Positive About Disabled People’ Status, we have made every effort to ensure equality of opportunity and access to both staff and learners at Professional & Technical Development Ltd. Working collaboratively with other local organisations, we often provide free, easily-accessible training opportunities to local disadvantaged groups in the Llanelli area and work closely with both Job Centre Plus and Careers Wales to help potential learners find the right learning programmes for them.
We have been an ISO accredited company, registered with the Lloyds Register of Quality Assurance, since 2004 and currently hold ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for our organisational quality assurance systems.
In 2008, we first achieved the nationally recognised Green Dragon Status at Level 3 for our Environmental Management Systems. We have maintained this accreditation successfully by measurably demonstrating our commitment to managing the environmental impacts of the company’s operations and seeking to minimise those impacts.
More recently, in 2010, Professional & Technical Development Ltd was - the third organisation in Wales - awarded the Investors in People (IIP) ‘Gold’ standard for our commitment to staff and their continuous professional development.
